First you need to download and install Logon Studio [link] It's a free logon changing program for XP. Then download the BreakOut Logon and doubleclick the BreakOut.logonxp file and it will install and open the Logon Studio program and appear in the list of available logons. Click "Apply" and that's it. And thanks alot!
Thanks alot. To install it, you need to install Logon Studio [link] It's a free logon changing program that's always worked well for me and doesn't hack any system files. Install it, download the logon, and double click the BreakOut.logonxp file and it will install. If your browser changes the file to BreakOut.zip..(I know IE does this sometimes) rename it back to a .logonxp file and then it should install fine for you. If you have any problems, let me know. Thanks again!
My problem with almost every skin i've downloaded thus far has been that the individual username boxes are all screwed up. This is one of the few perfected logon screens out there. I love it. This and transformers if that is by you.
Yeah, a lot of people don't really know what they're doing with logons. They're not really a big deal but I enjoy making them and have spent a lot of time working on the coding in the files to get them to work right. Transformer is mine too. Thanks very much and thanks for the fav!
Thanks very much bo and thank you for the fav! How do I make them? Not very well. Probably pretty much the same as you from what I've seen, and I render them all with an alpha channel so I can cut and paste and layer and move and generally try to make something halfway decent out of it. If I can ever get my brush work going, I could do a lot more, but right now I just don't have a true "abstract feel" for that style. It's great when well done like Viper and some others, but it can easily look pretty bad also until you really know what you're doing.
